We are currently partnering with a global organization looking to hire a highly hands-on SAP Application Support Analyst to support and maintain SAP ECC and SAP S/4 environments across multiple supply chain and operations-focused modules. This is not an implementation-only role. The position is heavily focused on production support, issue resolution, operational stability, and business continuity across critical SAP environments. The ideal candidate will be analytical, business-facing, and comfortable owning incidents through full resolution in fast-paced operational environments. You would work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and support partners to ensure SAP systems remain stable, efficient, and aligned with operational priorities. Key Responsibilities 1) SAP Application Support & Incident Resolution Provide day‑to‑day production support for SAP ECC and SAP S/4 environments Support SAP modules including: SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, SCM, TM, EWM Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP application and business process issues Perform root cause analysis and coordinate escalations when required Partner with technical teams, SAP support resources, and external vendors to resolve complex issues 2) Ticket Management & Operational Support Manage and prioritize support activities through ServiceNow Monitor ticket queues and ensure SLA compliance Coordinate directly with business stakeholders to assess business impact and operational urgency Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication throughout the ticket lifecycle 3) Business & Functional Partnership Work closely with business users and process owners to understand operational issues and support requirements Translate business needs into practical functional solutions Support SAP‑enabled business processes across supply chain and operational functions Build strong cross‑functional relationships across IT and business teams 4) Problem Management & Continuous Improvement Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive solutions Create and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides, process documentation Participate in post‑incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Help improve operational support processes and support consistency 5) Testing & Change Support Support testing activities related to system enhancements, patches, upgrades, production changes Coordinate with developers, functional teams, integration teams, and business users during validation and release activities Assist with implementation support and stabilization efforts Required Experience 5+ years of experience in SAP Application Support, SAP Production Support, or SAP Functional Support Strong experience supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 Experience supporting one or more of the following modules: SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, SCM, TM, EWM Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities Experience managing incidents, defects, and operational support requests Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and manage support priorities effectively Preferred Experience Experience with incident management and problem management processes Experience supporting testing, upgrades, and change management activities SAP certifications are a plus, but not required Key Skills Strong functional understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4 support environments Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced production environments Strong understanding of support operations and service management practices Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and business teams Strong documentation and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
