Job Overview The Facility Operations Representative will act as the primary liaison for facilities operations within capital building projects at LEGO Group. The role ensures the design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness of facilities systems, drives energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, and supports post‑handover ramp‑up of new facilities. Responsibilities Act as the facilities operations representative within capital building projects, ensuring facilities systems and utilities are designed, constructed, and commissioned to support safe, efficient, and reliable long‑term operations. Participate in early project phases influencing technical design decisions related to utilities infrastructure, energy systems, maintainability, accessibility, and operational readiness of facilities. Review and validate engineering builds, technical specifications, and construction work to ensure compliance with LEGO Group standards, operational requirements, and applicable local laws. Participate in and technically validate commissioning activities for facilities systems including electrical distribution, HVAC, water systems, compressed air, fire protection systems, and building management systems, ensuring systems meet operational, safety, and performance requirements prior to handover. Ensure operational readiness of new facilities by defining maintenance strategies, asset‑management frameworks, operational procedures, and technical documentation prior to project handover. Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to ensure alignment between building design, project execution, and long‑term facilities operations. Drive implementation of energy efficiency, sustainability, and utilities optimisation initiatives during design, construction, and commissioning phases. Support ramp‑up of new facilities after handover by stabilizing utilities systems, monitoring performance, and establishing efficient operational practices. Qualifications Experience in industrial facilities, utilities systems, engineering projects, or facilities operations within manufacturing environments. Strong technical knowledge of industrial utilities infrastructure including electrical distribution systems, HVAC, compressed air, water systems, fire protection, and building management systems. Proven experience participating in capital projects involving construction, expansion, or commissioning of industrial facilities. Experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams in complex industrial projects. Ability to influence technical decisions and represent operational requirements during design and construction phases. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in field situations during construction, commissioning, and operational ramp‑up.
