Overview As an Import /Export Compliance Sr. Lead you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring compliance with MX and USA government laws and regulations related to the Import/Export activities. With emphasis in assuring compliance with the pre-operation activities (planning and validation) and post-operation activities (compliance and internal audits). Overseeing all needed paperwork, and execution of defined processes will be critical. You will act as liaison between trade compliance area and the rest of the organization and providing direct support to the Import/Export Manager. Responsibilities Ensure that the information of the import and export transactions that are in the Annex 24 comply with Customs laws and regulations in both Mexico and US. Ensure that all the data that are in the Annex 24 is the same as in the data stage (government data). Ensure proper quality and accuracy in the Annex 24 FG and RM catalogues as well with BOM\'s, UoM, COO, conversion factors, USMCA and HTS. Ensure that the US HTS and USMCA status are captured into the ERP and have an alignment with the information in Annex 24. Ensure CTPAT program compliance. Ensure IMMEX program regulation compliance. Ensure OEA Certification compliance. Ensure VAT certification compliance regarding foreign trade. Provide support, ad-hoc projects, reports, and recommendations to Import/Export Sr. Manager, as appropriate. Ensure the proper discharges of import pedimentos in the Annex 24 making the proper review and validation for all the BOM\'s affected for the related period to be discharged. Ensure compliance with Annex24 and Annex C software and ensure not to have any expired material that is pending to return. Present the necessary reports to comply with Annex30 and compare vs Annex 24 to ensure adherence and alignment with the information Qualifications +7 Years experience in US-MEXICO trade compliance in maquiladora environment. Bachelor\'s degree in international business, International Trade, Business Administration or related field Strong knowledge in USMCA, US HTS, Annex 24, Annex 30 Strong knowledge in C-TPAT, OEA, VAT certification, IMMEX program Experience in Import-Export operation processes Experience working under ISO-9001 and ISO14001 standards Ability to work under minimum supervision and provide relevant recommendations within the Imp-Exp department Detail oriented, organized and strong analytical skills Strong and effective communication skills. Advance Knowledge in I-Xport, Excel, Access. Bilingual in English and Spanish, enabling effective communication in diverse environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
