The Engineering Manager – HVAC Coil Manufacturing is responsible for the technical leadership, design oversight, and performance verification of hydronic, steam, and direct expansion (DX) HVAC coils manufactured within the facility. This role manages the engineering team supporting coil design, application review, product performance, and manufacturing processes. Lead and manage the coil engineering team responsible for the design, application, and performance verification of HVAC coils. Provide support to field project managers after shipment as needed. Provide technical expertise in the design and performance of hydronic, steam, and direct expansion (DX) coils, including chilled water, hot water, glycol, steam distributing, and refrigerant evaporator/condenser coils. Review and approve coil selections, designs, and engineering documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and performance requirements. Oversee the development and maintenance of coil design standards, selection methodologies, and engineering procedures. Ensure coil designs meet required thermal performance, pressure drop, structural integrity, and manufacturing requirements. Support production teams by resolving manufacturing issues related to coil fabrication, materials, brazing, tube expansion, header design, and fin construction. Provide guidance on material selection, tube circuitry, fin geometry, face velocity limits, refrigerant distribution, and coil performance optimization. Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field. 8–12+ years of experience in HVAC coil design, manufacturing, or heat exchanger engineering. Previous experience in HVAC manufacturing or coil manufacturing operations strongly preferred. Management or team leadership experience preferred. English 100% #J-18808-Ljbffr
