Responsibilities Assist with period‑end close procedures, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and ensuring accurate financial statements. Document and adjust accounting entries to support the financial closure of the company. Prepare, integrate, and execute financial reports in the HFM system for shareholders. Collaborate with PepsiCo divisions on various accounting transactions. Prepare and record income tax journal entries. Partner with the US Corporate Consolidation Center of Excellence on accounting matters. Analyze balance sheet reviews to identify and address unexpected financial impacts. Execute financial reporting in SmartView/FDM‑HFM. Participate in periodic, quarterly, annual, and other required corporate reports. Maintain internal control procedures and ensure compliance with SOX requirements. Support external audit requests and complete ad‑hoc projects as needed. Qualifications Education: Accounting degree (CPA preferred). Experience: 2+ years of relevant USGAAP experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Advanced knowledge of accounting processes: Bank Management, AR, GL, Intercompany, Financial Reporting, Taxes, and integrated financial analysis standards. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Desirable ERP knowledge: SAP, HFM, FDM. Strong time‑management skills, self‑directed, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions. Team player, organized, able to manage stress and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy. Advocates for new tools and techniques, fostering a digital culture and influencing decision‑makers.
