We are seeking a QA Analyst to test and validate software controlling or monitoring washer/dryer hardware. This role focuses on ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing strategies, identifying issues, and assisting in integration with hardware products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking abilities and expertise in modern QA tools and methodologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories Perform thorough testing including functional, integration, regression, and API testing Critically analyze software functionality to identify edge cases and potential failure scenarios Document and track bugs, defects, and inconsistencies using JIRA Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle Assist in integration testing with hardware devices (washers/dryers and IoT systems) Create and maintain test documentation in Confluence Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies Required Qualifications Must Haves Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field 1-3 years of QA experience with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: SQL: Writing complex queries for data validation and backend testing Tableau: Creating test reports and data visualization for quality metrics Mobile App Testing: Experience with iOS/Android testing methodologies Test Automation: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks API Testing: Proficiency with tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to: Design comprehensive test cases from business requirements Identify alternate failure scenarios and edge cases Think beyond happy path testing Proficiency with JIRA for bug tracking and test case management Experience with Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing Understanding of software QA principles, methodologies, and best practices Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills Willingness to learn about hardware-software integration Nice to Haves Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) Knowledge of Python, Java, or C# for test automation Experience with embedded systems or IoT devices Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with performance testing tools Knowledge of networked devices and protocols #J-18808-Ljbffr
