If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **SMT Process Engineer** located in **Guadalajara, North Campus.**Reporting to the **Process Engineer Manager,** this role is responsible for supervising critical SMT processes, ensuring the correct execution of production plans, and leading the technical team to meet quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement objectives.**What a typical day looks like:*** Supervise technical activities in SMT processes and coordinate the team.* Develop and optimize programs for DEK, SPI, Camalot, and Press Fit equipment.* Analyze and validate stencils; perform SPI debug and P&P failure analysis.* Develop reflow profiles as well as instrumentation of profiling boards.* Create procedures, visual aids, and technical presentations.* Perform capacity calculations, rates per station and identify bottlenecks in the process.* Document and implement continuous improvement actions and Kaizen events.* Should be able to troubleshoot PCB Assembly process issues.* High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.**Experience we’re looking to add to our team:*** BA/BS or equivalent work experience.* Fluent English.* Experience operating and optimizing screen printing processes* Strong knowledge of Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) systems* Expertise in reflow ovens and thermal profiling* Experience with press-fit assembly processes* Experience in edge bonding/glue dispensing (Camalot)* Experience in flux dispensing systems (Asymtek)* Knowledge of plasma cleaning processes (Micron)* Experience with vacuum reflow oven technologies* Programming and implementation of intelligent torque systems* Development, setup, and balancing of assembly lines**What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:*** Competitive Salary.* Life & Medical insurance.* Christmas Bonus.* Food Coupons.* Saving Fund.SC69## ## Job CategoryProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:Optional Skills:Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
