A planner is responsible for creating and implementing plans and schedules for various projects or events. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively prioritize tasks, communicate with team members, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The planner should have strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems and adapt to changes in plans. Responsibilities Create and maintain project schedules using project management software Develop project plans including defining goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets Coordinate with project team members to ensure deadlines are met and tasks are completed Monitor and control project progress, identify risks, and develop contingency plans Evaluate and recommend project resources to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget Ensure that project documentation and communication channels are in place and up-to-date Conduct project post-mortems and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field At least 4 years of experience in project planning or management Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices Physical & Environmental Demands The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols. The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer. Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits. Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
