Please Note: This is an independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and insurance. Responsibilities Manage the client intake process from initial contact to onboarding Screen and evaluate potential clients to determine eligibility for legal services Conduct intake interviews and gather necessary information accurately Maintain and update client records and internal databases Communicate case status updates to clients, attorneys, and staff Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, providing a professional and welcoming experience Assist with drafting, formatting, and organizing intake documents Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure smooth case handoff Follow up with prospective clients in a timely and professional manner Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as an Intake Specialist or in a similar client-facing role Experience in a legal or professional services environment preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Comfortable working independently in a remote setting Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software What We Offer Bi-monthly pay (1st & 15th) 40 hours per week Long-term remote work with growth opportunities Salary increase after 6 months Monthly internet subsidy Insurance subsidy after 6 months Monthly attendance and performance incentives Equal Opportunity Employer Scale Up Staffing is committed to diversity, equality, and fair hiring.
