Partner with Cloud engineering, Data platform, and R&D IT teams to reduce manual operations and enable repeatable, production-grade infrastructure management at scale. Core Responsibilities. Infrastructure Automation Engineering. Design and implement API-driven automation frameworks for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of infrastructure. Develop reusable automation modules to support hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem + AWS cloud). Drive standardization of infrastructure workflows to reduce manual intervention and operational risk . Build integration layers across infrastructure services using REST APIs, SDKs, and event-driven mechanisms. Linux Systems Engineering. Operate deeply within Linux-based environments, including system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and configuration management. Automate OS-level operations, including patching, provisioning, and system lifecycle management. Develop scripts and tooling to improve system observability and operational efficiency. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) & Platform Enab lement. Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform. Define modular, scalable patterns for infrastructure deployment across environments. Partner with the platform and DevOps teams to enable self-service infrastructure capabilities. Cloud & DevOps Integration. Implement automation solutions aligned with AWS cloud architecture and services. Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains. Support cloud-native infrastructure patterns and automation strategies. Containerization & Orchestration (Nice-to-Have ). Contribute to automation strategies for containerized workloads (Docker) and Kubernetes platforms. Support deployment, scaling, and lifecycle automation for container-based systems. Operational Excellence & Reliability. Establish automation mechanisms to improve system reliability, scalability, and repeatability. Identify gaps in current infrastructure processes and drive automation-led improvements. Reduce operational toil through proactive automation and tooling. Build mechanisms to automate ingestion and analysis of system telemetry data to bring visibility into operational health, performance and cost. Required Experience. 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, automation, or DevOps roles Proven experience in: Linux systems engineering and administration. API-driven automation and system integration Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred). Cloud platform implementations (AWS preferred). Experience working in hybrid infrastructure environments. Critical Skills Strong Linux system internals and troubleshooting. API integration and automation design (REST, SDKs) CI/CD Pipeline experience in tools like TeamCity, Artifactory, GitHub Actions. Scripting/programming (Python, Go, Bash) Infrastructure automation and IaC patterns with Terraform and CloudFormation. Cloud platform fundamentals (AWS services, networking, IAM) Cross-team collaboration and technical execution.
