Qualifications Experience with launch of complex components or systems (e.g., airbags, steering wheels or seatbelts). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience working directly with OEM customers. Minimum 3 years in automotive industry as Launch Engineer handling airbags, steering wheels or seatbelts manufacturing. Automotive industry expertise is a must. Must have own transportation to access the plant; relocation assistance not provided. Strong drive, innovation, and resilience to work with a multicultural environment. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate new product launches from pre‑production through full‑scale manufacturing. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain. Develop and track launch timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Ensure production readiness, including tooling, equipment, and process validation. Monitor and resolve issues during pilot builds and early production phases. Support APQP activities and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Coordinate with customers (OEMs) regarding launch status, risks, and issue resolution. Implement continuous improvement actions to stabilize production after launch. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and cost targets. Report to the Operations Manager. #J-18808-Ljbffr
