Requisition Number: 74547 Role Purpose Leads the development and execution of Global Supply Management (GSM) Strategic Sourcing strategies, policies, tactics and objectives for assigned complex global commodities, aligning with business units, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing strategies. Key Responsibilities Develop and assist with Strategic Sourcing plans and objectives based on forecasts of future demand, economic and currency trends. Prepare and solicit competitive bids, quotations, proposals with specifications, terms and conditions. Develop and review specifications, statements of work, performance terms, and accept/reject criteria. Conduct negotiations with major suppliers for maximum value. Develop and communicate global supply intelligence for assigned commodities. Own the Supplier Relationship Management process for the assigned commodities. Develop and cultivate effective supplier relationships. Develop, maintain and execute Shared Objectives and Service Level Agreements. Champion and advocate for the Global Buying Policy, ensuring compliance. Experiences/Education – Required Bachelor’s degree. Experience in manufacturing – operations, planning, engineering, supply management, or procurement. Experience as a Plant or Corporate Buyer. Experiences/Education – Desired Experience across multiple businesses, divisions or technologies. Experience with global manufacturing and business through work or project experience.
