The English Teachers will plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons aligned with SISU’s K–12 curriculum and C1 proficiency expectations. Daily responsibilities include designing learner-centered units and activities, differentiating instruction, and providing timely feedback to support academic progress and language development. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, contributing to school events, and participating in ongoing professional learning. English Teachers are expected to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset in all learners.Qualifications Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with demonstrated success in instructing Middle School and High School learners at or approaching C1 proficiency. Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including designing assessments and adapting materials for diverse learning needs. Background in Education, preferably with a degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field, and familiarity with international or bilingual school environments. Excellent Communication skills, including clear classroom communication, effective collaboration with colleagues, and constructive engagement with families. C1 (or higher) English language proficiency, evidenced by qualifications or experience, and comfort using technology and digital tools in teaching and assessment. Experience or interest in student-centered, inquiry-based, or project-based learning approaches that support holistic development and learner well-being. Ability to contribute to a positive school culture, model professional behavior, and participate actively in ongoing professional development.
