Location: Tlaquepaque, Mexico Your Tasks As a Software Test Engineer, you will analyze requirements for testability, design, implement and execute test cases across Software Tests and Software Integration Tests. Design, implement, and execute test cases for embedded software at component, integration, and software qualification levels. Validate in-vehicle network protocols such as KWP2000, UDS, J1939, and communication interfaces like CAN and LIN. Conduct failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution. Perform CAPL scripting, code stubbing, and debugging activities to support test automation and simulation. Ensure alignment with safety and regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262). Test Environment & Toolchain Coordination Develop and maintain test environments including HIL systems, simulation tools, test benches, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies. Utilize tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, WinIdea, HIL platforms, and proprietary test automation frameworks. Support automation strategy development, including scripting and framework enhancements. Coordinate setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of test equipment and toolchains. Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering or related. 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in embedded systems testing, ideally in the automotive domain. Strong experience in Software Test and Software Integration Test. Experience verifying in-vehicle networking protocols (KWP2000, UDS, J1939) and communication protocols (CAN, LIN). Hands-on experience in requirement analysis, test case design, execution, reporting, CAPL programming, and code stubbing. Practical experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other lab equipment. Basic understanding of hardware/software interfaces, microprocessors, and microcontrollers. Good knowledge of Embedded C. Familiarity with test automation, including scripting and framework usage. Proficient with tools such as WinIdea, CANoe, CANalyzer, HIL systems, and other automotive testing environments. Knowledge of testing methods and safety-related standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262). LabVIEW experience and ISTQB certification are strong advantages. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
