Role Summary Senior Quality Engineering Technician responsible for assisting Quality Engineering in sustaining activities and driving improvements at the Ciudad Juarez, Independencia Site. Responsibilities Provide training to associates and peers in manufacturing processes, system applications, measurement equipment, product complaints, and other areas as needed. Perform verification of activities completed under non‑conformance reports. Assist or execute failure investigations of non‑conformances, audit findings, CAPAs, and other relevant issues. Utilize quality engineering tools such as measurement system analysis, basic statistics, and other required methods. Collect and analyze data, creating and distributing reports for quality metrics, initiatives, and plant scorecards. Maintain availability of applicable supplies for the department. Follow J&J and Records Management Policies for convenience information, records retention schedules, training and education, document hold notices, and records clean‑out. Maintain and provide quality records from the company's quality information systems. Act as an administrator of local quality information systems and support development of new quality information system applications and processes. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), regulations, international standards, environmental and health policies. Assist the Quality Engineer in line support or perform own line support as experience demands. Serve as liaison to manufacturing for quality‑related issues. Assist Quality Engineers in driving control plan effectiveness on production lines. Follow all company safety policies and precautions within the work area. Ensure compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities. Communicate business‑related issues or opportunities to the next management level. Follow all Company guidelines related to health, safety, and environmental practices. For supervisory roles, ensure subordinates follow Company guidelines and that necessary resources are available and in good condition. Ensure personal and Company compliance with Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties assigned as needed. Qualifications Education: Near completion (≥50%) of a university or college program; CQIA or CQA preferred. English conversational proficiency at 75% or greater. 3–5years of related work experience, or demonstrated performance; alternatively 4–6years or ≥50% completion of higher‑education. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred. Knowledge of QSR/ISO standards preferred. ASQ Improvement Associate or Quality Auditor certifications desired. Process Excellence Green Belt desired. PC background required. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and database applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
