Manager – NoLA Payroll Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management and building systems, is seeking a Manager, NoLA Payroll to lead payroll operations across Mexico, Costa Rica, and Peru. Key Responsibilities Payroll Operations Delivery Oversee end-to-end payroll processing using Workday, PeopleNet, UKG and Softland. Manage payroll cycles, validations, reconciliations, and approvals. Ensure accurate processing of earnings, deductions, and statutory requirements. Compliance & Governance Maintain knowledge of payroll regulations in Mexico, Costa Rica and Peru. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls. Partner with Legal, HR, and Finance to mitigate risks. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Manage payroll vendors and ensure SLA adherence. Partner with HR and Finance leaders across the region. Leadership & Team Development Lead and develop a regional payroll team. Provide guidance on payroll processes and compliance. Continuous Improvement & Transformation Drive process improvements and standardization. Optimize Workday, PeopleNet, and Softland usage. Reporting & Financial Partnership Deliver KPIs and payroll insights. Support finance with accruals and reconciliations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR or related field. 7+ years payroll experience, including LATAM. 3+ years leadership experience. Experience with Workday, PeopleNet, UKG, and/or Softland. Fluency in Spanish and English. Experience in multinational companies (preferred). Benefits Comprehensive benefits package.
