The ideal candidate will blend strong manual testing expertise with cutting‑edge generative AI and agentic AI technologies, such as Claude , to enhance test case creation, coverage, and automation readiness. Your work will directly influence the reliability, usability, and success of our AI‑driven and streaming products, ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms. Roles and Responsibilities Execute comprehensive manual testing of OTT applications across multiple devices including smart TVs , Roku , Android TV , set‑top boxes, and mobile platforms to guarantee flawless performance and compatibility. Utilize generative AI tools such as Claude to rewrite, enrich, and optimize manual test cases, enhancing clarity, reusability, and scalability of QA documentation. Generate detailed functional test cases derived from user stories, product requirements, and documentation. Expand test coverage by designing edge cases and negative scenarios using AI‑assisted workflows and agentic AI concepts for task planning and iterative refinement. Conduct device‑specific testing to validate usability, performance, and compatibility across diverse hardware and operating systems. Perform regression testing, data validation, and implementation audits to ensure quality and stability of releases. Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and Agile/Scrum teams during sprint planning, defect triage, and release validation activities. Utilize project context, historical defects, and requirements to ground AI‑generated outputs applying Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts. Create detailed bug reports, track issues through resolution using tools like JIRA , and communicate testing progress and outcomes to stakeholders. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in manual testing, OTT platforms, and AI‑driven QA methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4+ years of hands‑on experience in manual testing , preferably within OTT, streaming media, or connected device ecosystems. Proven experience with OTT platforms and device testing on platforms such as Roku and Android TV . Practical knowledge and hands‑on experience using Claude or similar generative AI platforms for QA workflows. Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, including task planning and iterative refinement processes. Strong ability to develop clear, detailed, and comprehensive test cases and QA documentation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools such as JIRA and Confluence . Knowledge of debugging and proxy tools such as Charles Proxy or Chrome DevTools . Basic understanding of containerization technologies like Docker for running AI or QA tooling is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
