Your Team Responsibilities You will be part of the Private Assets COO organization, playing a critical role in scaling the operating model, execution discipline, and performance transparency of a fast‑growing business line at MSCI. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Coverage, and Business Technology. You will help institutionalize execution rigor from ideation through launch, strengthen cross‑functional alignment, and improve the quality and consistency of reporting to senior leadership. Contribution to the strengthening governance, accountability, and operational excellence across Private Assets. This is a high‑visibility role within the COO organization, requiring strong analytical capabilities, structured thinking, and the ability to drive follow‑through across stakeholders. Your Key Responsibilities Responsibilities: Serve as custodian of the Private Assets operating model, ensuring governance frameworks and stage gates are adhered to. Document, maintain, and continuously improve processes and procedures across Product. Identify structural gaps or inefficiencies and propose enhancements to improve execution discipline. JPD & Jira (MSCI Board) Governance Assist in monitoring hygiene and integrity within JPD and Jira. Ensure roadmap initiatives are properly documented, prioritized, and traceable. Partner with the product leads to address missing, incomplete, or outdated information. Maintain consistent workflow states, tagging structures, and reporting standards. Ensure clear traceability from ideation (JPD) to execution (Jira). Ideation-to-Build Process Integrity Ensure new JPD ideas include defined problem statements, ownership, and commercial rationale. Support governance checkpoints and document key discussion points and actions. Maintain consolidated visibility into roadmap movement and execution status. Process Documentation & Training Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and execution guides. Own onboarding documentation and training for new Product and Program Management joiners. Provide training sessions on operating model governance and tooling best practices. Ensure knowledge continuity as the organization scales. Product Operations Uplift Initiatives Support operational improvement initiatives such as dashboard revamps, tooling enhancements, reporting upgrades, and workflow optimizations. Coordinate cross-team input for product-related process enhancements. Track progress and ensure timely execution of uplift initiatives. Your skills and experience that will help you excel 3‑5+ years of experience in product operations, program management, business operations, consulting, or financial services. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or any related field. Experience working with Jira, Jira Product Discovery, or comparable workflow management tools is a must. Strong organizational and process design skills. Demonstrates confidence and professionalism when interacting with senior stakeholders, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Ability to drive follow‑ups and enforce accountability across stakeholders. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools. Excellent English Communication skills, verbal and written. Interest in private markets, financial data, and investment solutions.
