The Global Robotic Sales Support role within ESAB Corporation provides technical expertise and sales support for robotic and automation solutions across both EWM and ESAB product portfolios. This position serves as a key interface between global customers, internal departments, and system partners. It also plays a critical role in developing, supporting, and training regional sales structures worldwide to ensure consistent technical excellence and commercial success across both brands. Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Consultation Clarify technical inquiries and provide expert advice to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and on-site visits. Support automation and robotic solutions by: Defining applications and customer requirements. Selecting suitable components and systems. Ensuring proper system integration and connectivity. Provide service consultation including: Spare parts identification. Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. Repair support and coordination. Support mechanization topics such as: Component selection. Spare parts sourcing. Sales & Partner Management Maintain and support existing system partners globally. Identify and acquire new partners. Develop, support, and train regional sales structures worldwide. Enable regional teams through: Product and application training. Knowledge transfer and best practice sharing. Contribute to SCO (Special Customer Order) project planning and execution. Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations. Project & Operational Support Handle customer complaints, including coordination and resolution processes. Provide technical support and guidance to regional sales administration staff. Support commissioning, customer onboarding, and after-sales service activities. Conduct regional sales team and sales partner training sessions globally. Drive knowledge transfer and continuous improvement across regions. Scope of Responsibility & Authority Act as a global technical expert for robotic welding and automation solutions. Strengthen international sales capabilities across both EWM and ESAB organizations. Ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal product capabilities. Contribute to long-term partner development and customer. Key Interfaces / Organizational Relationships Purchasing. Sales Administration. Research & Development. Quality Assurance (QA). Application Engineering / Process Engineering. Repair & Service Department. Prototype Manufacturing. Qualifications Strong technical expertise in robotic welding and automation systems. Knowledge of both EWM and ESAB product portfolios is an advantage. Experience in developing and enabling international sales organizations. Strong communication and training skills in cross-cultural environments. Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities. Willingness to travel internationally.
