A leading multinational organization in the food and beverage industry is seeking a Director Quality Operations to lead Quality execution across manufacturing operations and the supply chain. Role Purpose The Director Quality Operations is responsible for governing end‑to‑end Quality execution across internal factories and distribution centers, ensuring products, processes, facilities, and systems consistently meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. This role drives Quality strategy, certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives while building strong teams and embedding a culture of Quality excellence and operational discipline. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the Quality strategy across manufacturing plants and supply chain operations. Ensure compliance with corporate Quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Lead internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and certification processes (e.g., GFSI / FSSC 22000, ISO standards). Analyze Quality KPIs and data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities; implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement programs, including Lean, IWS, and Six Sigma initiatives. Lead, coach, and develop senior Quality leaders; provide functional guidance to Plant Quality Managers. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&D, and Commercial teams. Act as the main interface with external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and external laboratories. Leadership Scope Direct leadership of multiple senior Quality leaders. Indirect functional leadership across Quality teams in manufacturing plants. Strong interaction with senior business and operations leadership. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience in senior Quality, Manufacturing, and/or Supply Chain roles. Strong background in food and/or beverage manufacturing , preferably in high‑risk product categories. Deep expertise in Quality Management Systems, HACCP, ISO 9001 / 22000, and GFSI standards. Proven experience leading Quality transformations and continuous improvement programs. Strong people leadership and cross‑functional influencing skills. Fluent English required (bilingual level).
