Tool Engineer What you’ll do: Lead tooling development from early design phase to production, driving part and tool design for processes such as die casting, plastic injection molding, and PU, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and performance from kickoff to SOP. Drive supplier and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with internal engineering teams and external suppliers to support tool development, negotiate technical solutions, and ensure quality and timing during new product launches. Optimize tooling performance and processes, leveraging simulation tools (Moldflow), CAD design (CATIA/SolidWorks), and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and ensure robust tool validation. Provide technical expertise in manufacturing processes , including trimming, cutting, broaching, and material behavior (chemical/thermal), ensuring tools meet production standards and long-term reliability. What is required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field Proven experience in tooling engineering within automotive , with strong focus on plastic injection and/or die casting processes Experience in early product and tool development , with strong critical thinking and design review capability Hands-on experience with CAD tools (CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation software (Moldflow preferred) Knowledge of manufacturing processes : trimming, cutting, broaching, and material behavior (thermal/chemical) Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams , including technical negotiation Availability to travel and valid US visa preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic, global environment What’s in it for you: Attractive compensation package Recognition awards, company events, family events, university discount options and many more perks.
