As a Test Support Technician, you will play a key role supporting functional and electrical test teams. You will be responsible for keeping test equipment running properly, minimizing downtime, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, identifying failures, and generating reports that improve equipment availability and production quality. This position supports NPI projects (e.g., Fiber Optic Transceiver — TRX). Our Team You will be part of the Test Engineering area, contributing to meeting manufacturing metrics on high-volume production lines (UPH). The team focuses on ensuring product functional and electrical validation, maintaining operational continuity, and supporting growth through NPI and continuous improvement. What You Will Do Provide technical support for test equipment to minimize equipment downtime. Ensure proper preventive and corrective maintenance of test equipment. Identify and diagnose electrical and functional failures in test equipment. Generate technical reports on failures, maintenance, and actions taken to support traceability and continuous improvement. Take initiative to solve problems and escalate as needed to maintain operational continuity. Work as a team with Production, Maintenance, and Test Engineering to implement solutions. Maintain clear and timely communication regarding equipment status and actions performed. Perform effectively under pressure and manage stress in high-volume production environments. Be available to work rotating shifts. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Education: Preferably an Engineering degree or technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, or related field; recent graduates may be considered. Basic electronics knowledge: ability to read electrical diagrams and use multimeters and measurement equipment. Experience or familiarity with electrical/functional test equipment. Ability to identify failures, perform diagnostics, and document actions. Teamwork skills, initiative, and strong stress management. Availability to work rotating shifts. What Will Put You Ahead Previous experience in electronics manufacturing environments or product testing. Additional knowledge of test equipment and test software. Technical English for communication and documentation (preferred). Training or experience supporting NPI projects (e.g., TRX / fiber optic transceiver).
