Where You’ll Fit Within the Team The Senior Specialist, Global Benefits provides operational delivery and continuous improvement of Bain’s global wellbeing and health programs through strong vendor management and HR partnership. This role serves as a key connector between external wellbeing vendors (e.g., EAP, mental health providers, international medical carriers), HR, and regional stakeholders. The role will also support global health program operations, ensuring these programs are executed effectively, relationships are proactively managed, and the employee experience is streamlined and supportive. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Global Benefits, the Senior Specialist brings strong collaboration and consultative capabilities to program delivery. In addition to administering programs, this individual acts as a collaborator with HR stakeholders, providing experience and perspective to strengthen outcomes and decision—making. What You’ll Do Manage delivery of global wellbeing programs (global employee assistance program (EAP), 1:1 counseling, and mental health app), including HR partnership (75%). Program Operations Oversee end‑to‑end daily operations of the programs across all participating countries and serve as the primary global point of contact for vendors and HR teams. Support Talent Wellbeing and Resilience team with a network of dedicated EAP counselors, specially trained to understand our business and support employees. Monitor vendor performance, quality, and accessibility through SLA oversight, business reviews, utilization analysis, and internal feedback. Support Senior Manager, Global Benefits with contract renewals, vendor performance reviews, and service enhancements. Oversee invoicing, budgeting support, and global cost allocation. Maintain and improve documentation and operating processes. Ensure adherence to global data privacy regulations and local legal requirements in partnership with talent stakeholders (e.g., local HR, Wellbeing & Resilience team). HR & Stakeholder Engagement Deliver responsive, high‑quality stakeholder support in English. Maintain wellbeing program content on the Talent Wellbeing and Resilience Team SharePoint sites to share information with employees, HR, and other stakeholders. Conduct periodic utilization reviews (bi‑annual) and analyze trends, service categories, demographic insights (where available), and identify emerging themes and actionable insights. Maintain wellbeing course catalogue and offer options to global HR teams for local or regional wellbeing education. Support Senior Manager, Global Benefits with the development of clear, actionable reports and executive‑ready presentations for HR leadership and key stakeholders. Identify opportunities to increase awareness, improve access, and enhance program impact based on data insights. Facilitate training and information sessions for HR and business leaders to promote program understanding. Support delivery of global health programs (global medical for expatriates and international travel medical insurance) (15%). Support day‑to‑day administration for expatriate medical plan and international travel medical insurances, including enrollments, maintaining communications, etc. Support vendor relationship, issuer resolution, and renewals. Partner with HR and mobility stakeholders to ensure seamless coverage for internationally mobile populations. Support financial tracking, invoicing, and cost allocation processes related to these programs. Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and employee experience across these offerings. Support global benefits projects (10%). Collaborate on global benefits initiatives such as program benchmarking, operational improvements, communications strategy, and program delivery. About You Strong written and verbal English communication skills in a global business environment. Demonstrated vendor and relationship management capability. Experience 4+ years of experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Experience supporting or managing wellbeing programs and’or health plans. Ability to operate consultatively, using data and experience to guide stakeholders. Advanced analytical capability with proficiency in Excel; able to translate data into actionable insights. Ability to work effectively across time zones, including participation in periodic evening global calls. Experience leading or supporting global wellbeing programs across regions, including oversight of EAP and mental health vendors, performance reporting, communications strategy, and operational delivery. Direct experience running or supporting a health plan strongly preferred, with the ability to apply that perspective in a consultative capacity to HR stakeholders. Proven vendor management experience, including SLA oversight, structured governance, renewals, and financial administration. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Global and Regional HR stakeholders in a complex, multi‑region environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel required); experience with Workday a plus. Additional requirements: Ability to attend global calls outside standard business hours (including evening hours) periodically.
