This role sits close to leadership and requires someone who can keep up with a fast pace, stay extremely organized, and take ownership without needing heavy direction. Responsibilities Source and evaluate new investment opportunities (primarily retail and industrial, with exposure to other commercial asset types) Build and/or improve underwriting models in Excel, including complex cash flow and waterfall analyses Conduct market research (rents, comps, fundamentals) and support underwriting assumptions Support due diligence: gather, organize, and review deal materials; coordinate timelines and next steps Prepare investment write‑ups / approval packages and present deal conclusions clearly Help build and manage the acquisitions funnel, including lead generation processes (AI, VAs, outreach, campaigns) Coordinate handoff to asset management post‑closing as needed Create internal SOPs/frameworks and support process improvement as the team scales Requirements Bachelor’s or higher degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics 3+ years of experience in US private equity real estate underwriting and processing commercial real estate transactions or comparable direct transaction experience Highly proficient with Excel, including the ability to create complex financials models and waterfall analyses. Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including market research and financial forecasting. Substantial experience analyzing investments and exerting sound judgement Strong attention to detail with high personal organization (you manage timelines accurately) Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) Self‑directed and independent, highly personable and motivated Nice to Have Experience with retail shopping centers and/or industrial warehouses Experience sourcing deals and running outbound funnels (brokers, owners, campaigns) Experience preparing investment committee materials and fundraising/approval packages.
