AXA Group Operations' Network Product Department is launching a One Network Program to advance digital transformation, improve user connectivity, and mitigate cyber risks. Within the Data Center & Cloud product line, the Data Center & Cloud Network engineer designs, delivers, and supports the company’s data‑center and cloud networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancers, internet access, DC inter‑connect backbone, DWDM, and cloud networks (AWS, Azure, Google, Intercloud). Job purpose The Network Product Engineer is responsible to define, advertise, and ensure delivery of sustainable, robust, and secure solutions that deliver business value and support corporate and line‑of‑business strategies, in collaboration with Group Security, CTO, and the One Network Program. Responsibilities Contribute and support medium to long‑term product evolution and continuous product improvement. Manage advisory, selection, design, secure build, and integration of network products in scope. Facilitate communications and interactions between functional groups, AXA IT Services, strategic partners, and vendors. Ensure QoS delivery and support for solutions. Provide high‑expertise support on products and services. Lead with strong results orientation, change leadership, adaptability, and collaborative behaviour. Demonstrate excellent communication skills (listening, speaking, writing) and ability to work in a global team. Explain complex architectural concepts and strategies to senior managers and IT teams in clear language. Show curiosity, identify opportunities in situations, and exhibit strong human‑relationship skills. Work effectively in an international environment and be proficient in English. Required skills & experience Strong experience driving large architecture, standardization & transformation initiatives. Competence in finalizing NSX‑T and ACI configuration and rolling out zero‑downtime DCs. Experience providing L3 support for production and troubleshooting network issues. Leading or contributing to Data‑Center networking projects. Network automation skills – Terraform, Ansible, Python for POD automation. Expertise in network & cloud design patterns, security solutions, and IT infrastructure best practices. Experience managing Data Center and cloud network technologies (ACI, Switch Fabric, Load‑balancer, VMware NSX‑T). Knowledge of network security products (SASE, VPN, firewalling – Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.), web gateways, segmentation, SD‑WAN, LAN, WAN, MPLS, and identity services. Minimum 8 years of experience in the network domain, university degree (engineering profile). Strong understanding of current network and infrastructure challenges and trends at an infrastructure and technical level. Proven ability to build and maintain productive technical relationships with major IT vendors. Commitment to delivering high‑quality deliverables and working within tight planning. Ability to gather, analyze, and combine business and technical requirements from critical constituents, and recommend efficient, cost‑effective technological designs aligned with business requirements and company strategy.
