SAP ABAP Developer #ZCC Zurich capability center is looking for SAP ABAP Developer Experience: 5+ YearsDomain: InsuranceLocation: México City or Guadalajara hybrid Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 5+ years of hands‑on experience , preferably within the Insurance domain , to design, develop, and support SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technicalexpertisein ABAP development and a solid understanding of insurance business processes, contributing to high‑quality, scalable SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) Develop and maintain ABAP Objects , ALV Reports , Smart Forms , SAP Scripts , and Adobe Forms Work closely with functional consultants to translate insurance business requirements into technical solutions Support and enhance SAP modules relevant to insurance processes (e.g., FS-CD, FS-PM, FI, SD, or custom insurance solutions ) Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and web services Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization Follow SAP best practices and ensure compliance with development standards Provide production support and resolve incidents related to ABAP developments Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience Strongexpertisein: ABAP/4, ABAP Objects Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework) Data Dictionary (DDIC) Experience working in the Insurance domain (Life, P&C, Health, or Reinsurance preferred Knowledge of insurance business processes such as: Policy lifecycle Claims management Billing and collections Experience with interfaces and integrations (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Web Services) Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP for HANA (AMDP, CDS views) is a plus Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills Nice to Have Experience with SAP FSCM or Financial Services modules Exposure to SAP Workflow and OData services Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies SAP ABAP or S/4HANA certification Soft Skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams Strong sense of ownership and accountability Adaptability to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment Who we are Looking for a challenging and inspiring work environment where you can make a difference?
