Join Our Collections Team in Tijuana We are looking for enthusiastic and collections-driven Outbound Call Center Agents to join our dynamic team! Agents are responsible for making outbound calls to consumers that are in debt with a single or multiple clients. Following strict opening scripts based on FDCPA compliance guidelines, agents are tasked to review each consumer’s account and provide the best options to begin working on their debts. Negotiation, active listening and critical thinking skills are key to the success of this activity, since they do face rejection constantly, the task is to build rapport and have the consumers engaged long enough in the call to provide payment plan or settlement options. Schedule Monday to Thursday: 5:00 am to 3:00 pm, Fridays: 5:00 am to 9:00 am Key Responsibilities Outbound calls to consumers and verify right party contacts. Receive transfer calls from agents stationed at an office, to handle consumers assigned to Mexicali branch. Review and validate account delinquency dates and principal balances. Follow compliance-approved scripts when communicating with applicants to ensure they are FDCPA compliant. Update important account information. Conduct follow-up calls for consumers that are not willing to make payments in the moment. Handle rebuttals and overcome objections to collect payments on the spot or postdate them. Provide accurate notes and exhaust all efforts towards settlement offers based on client guidelines. Qualifications/Experience At least 1 year of call center experience (required). Previous financial services, collections, or cold call sales experience preferred. (6 months – 1 year experience) Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required; bilingual preferred). Ability to follow structured scripts while building rapport. Strong collections and negotiation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. Strong attention to detail and compliance. Ability to work independently and meet daily, weekly and monthly collection targets.
