Job Description Provide L2/L3 support for SAP ABAP-related issues across SAP modules Analyze, debug, and resolve ABAP program errors, dumps, and performance issues Develop and modify ABAP objects such as reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces Support incident, problem, and change management activities following ITSM processes Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes Work closely with functional consultants to understand requirements and provide technical solutions Support transport management and ensure proper documentation of changes Assist with system upgrades, patches, and testing activities Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge base Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in SAP ABAP development and support Hands‑on knowledge of reports, ALV, BDC, enhancements, user exits, BAdIs Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and error analysis Basic understanding of SAP functional modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, HR) Familiarity with support environments (AMS) and ticketing tools Good analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team Nice to Have Experience with ABAP OO, IDocs, RFCs, SmartForms / Adobe Forms Exposure to S/4HANA environments Knowledge of ITIL processes Application Consultant Overview Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customisations or extensions to be done to the application.
