L1 Search Evaluator Location: Masaryk, Polanco, Mexico City, Mexico (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE) Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical L1 Search Evaluator to join our team in Mexico City. In this role, you will serve as a frontline specialist responsible for evaluating search result quality, analyzing user feedback, and contributing to the continuous improvement of search algorithms and search products. The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills, excellent English proficiency, and a passion for internet trends, online content, and user experience. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and categorize search results, identifying low-quality or \"bad case\" outcomes to support search product and algorithm improvements. Analyze user search behavior, requirements, and feedback through data review and investigation. Provide actionable recommendations to improve search relevance, accuracy, and overall user experience. Identify potential trust and safety risks related to search content and escalate issues as needed. Interpret and consistently apply detailed evaluation guidelines and policies to daily review tasks. Maintain high-quality standards while meeting productivity and turnaround time requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing search quality initiatives and process improvements. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in search evaluation, data labeling, content review, content moderation, quality analysis, or similar evaluation-based roles. High proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail. Ability to navigate, troubleshoot, and effectively utilize internal systems and platforms. Solid understanding of internet culture, online communities, search behavior, and digital content consumption. Ability to work a full-time 40-hour weekly schedule and adhere to a 1-hour turnaround SLA. Comfortable working with policy-driven workflows and detailed evaluation guidelines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in search-related, internet-based, or digital platform environments. Background in content moderation, trust and safety, user feedback operations, or quality assurance. Active and knowledgeable user of social media platforms and online communities. Familiarity with search relevance, content quality assessment, and user intent analysis.
