This role is designed for a marketing leader who not only defines where the portfolio needs to go, but also rolls up their sleeves to make it happen . As Junior Marketing Director , you will own portfolio strategy and be deeply involved in daily brand operations, working hands‑on with teams to ensure strategies translate into strong in‑market execution and business results within a fast‑paced FMCG environment. Your impact (Strategic + Hands‑on) Define and lead the portfolio strategy : role of brands, portfolio architecture, and strategic growth choices. Actively manage day‑to‑day brand and portfolio operations , ensuring plans are delivered with excellence. Build and steer the innovation pipeline (3–5 year horizon), while staying closely involved in launch execution and post‑launch performance. Translate consumer and category insights into clear priorities, briefs, and actions for teams and agencies. Own portfolio performance management : growth drivers, mix, pricing/pac architecture, and marketing investment effectiveness. Work hands‑on with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain) to solve business challenges as they arise. Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team through close guidance, feedback, and active involvement. What we’re looking for Must‑haves Strong experience in FMCG/CPG portfolio, brand, or category leadership , combining strategy and execution. Proven ability to move seamlessly between big‑picture thinking and operational detail . Experience managing innovation pipelines and brand operations in competitive, fast‑moving markets. Solid commercial mindset, linking brand decisions to growth, profitability, and ROI . Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to prioritize, decide, and execute under pressure. Nice to have Experience with brand architecture, pricing & pack strategy, and portfolio mix optimization. Close collaboration with Sales on in‑market execution and performance delivery.
