Job Title : Senior Executive of Business Development Location : Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico Department : Sales / Business Development Reports To : EVP of Sales & Marketing Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to drive revenue growth for our manufacturing facility in Monterrey. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive, well-established network within major OEM manufacturing organizations and a proven ability to leverage those relationships to create new business opportunities and accelerate market penetration. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing key customer accounts, and expanding our presence across targeted industries. The successful candidate will bring strong B2B sales experience within a manufacturing environment, exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, and a demonstrated track record of securing and growing high-value OEM partnerships. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter who is comfortable engaging decision-makers at all levels of large manufacturing organizations, identifying opportunities, and converting them into long-term, profitable customer relationships. A deep understanding of the OEM sales process, supply chain dynamics, and manufacturing operations is required. Key Responsibilities Leverage an established network of OEM decision-makers, purchasing leaders, engineers, and supply chain professionals to generate new business opportunities. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within target markets. Conduct on-site client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations. Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities. Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. Provide ongoing customer support to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 7 years (minimum) 15+ years preferred of outside sales experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors. Existing business network with large OEM manufacturing companies. Proven success in B2B sales and territory management. Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly, or similar). Experience selling to OEMs, Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers, or industrial clients. Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals. Valid driver’s license, VISA, and willingness to travel frequently within the region and the US. Skills & Competencies Exceptional negotiation and closing skills. Strong communication and presentation abilities. Relationship-driven with a customer-first mindset. Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Self-starter with high accountability and results orientation. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
