Senior Associate, Transaction Advisory Services & FP&A Support Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. In this role, you will lead and support both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements on behalf of private equity clients while also providing post-close FP&A support to their portfolio companies. This is an excellent opportunity to for a finance professional looking to deepen their deal execution experience while building lasting relationships with PE sponsors and their management teams across the investment cycle (from pre-close diligence through post-acquisition value creation). Key Responsibilities: Financial Due Diligence (Buy-Side & Sell-Side) Support and execute both buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity clients. Includes Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses, working capital assessments, net debt analyses, and identification of normalized EBITDA adjustments. Build and review financial models. Analyze historical financial statements, management accounts, and supporting schedules to assess the quality and sustainability of earnings. Prepare due diligence reports, executive summaries, and client-ready deliverables with clear, actionable findings. Manage data room review processes and interact directly with target company management and PE deal teams. Post-Close FP&A Support (Private Equity Portfolio Companies) Help finance teams build or strengthen their FP&A capabilities. Support the development and implementation of monthly/quarterly management reporting packages, board-ready materials, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis frameworks aligned with sponsor reporting expectations. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans that tie back to the original deal model and investment thesis. Help establish standardized FP&A processes, chart of accounts structures, and financial reporting infrastructure (particularly for companies transitioning from founder-led or PE-unsophisticated environments). Support add-on acquisition integration efforts from a financial reporting and consolidation standpoint where applicable. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. 1-2 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, or a related M&A advisory role is required. Public accounting, investment banking, or consulting background is preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP financial statements and accounting concepts is required. Demonstrated ability to perform quality of earnings analysis and working capital assessments is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required. Ability to build and stress-test financial models is required. English Fluency: written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely is required. Experience with private equity-backed transactions is preferred. Exposure to FP&A, financial modelling, and/or management reporting in post-acquisition context is preferred. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
