Purchasing Supervisor (Head of Purchasing) Apodaca / Monterrey Area, Nuevo León | On-site We are looking for a hands‑on and results‑driven Purchasing Supervisor to join an international manufacturing company. This role is responsible for executing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the best balance between cost, quality, and delivery across operations. What you’ll do Execute purchasing strategies for direct and indirect materials Coordinate with quality, engineering, planning, and production to ensure optimal purchasing decisions Evaluate quotations, manage RFQs, and lead supplier negotiations (pricing, lead time, incoterms) Monitor and follow up on purchase orders, delays, and discrepancies Analyze purchasing trends and expenses to identify cost‑saving opportunities Manage supplier onboarding, development, and performance evaluation Ensure optimal inventory levels in coordination with planning Support sourcing strategies and participate in cost reduction initiatives Generate reports and KPIs for purchasing performance Supervise and support purchasing team activities What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field Experience in purchasing or supply chain within manufacturing environments Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities Intermediate English level Availability to travel Key competencies Negotiation and communication skills Organization and attention to detail Teamwork and collaboration Problem‑solving and conflict resolution What we offer Competitive benefits package above legal requirements Grocery vouchers (10%) Savings fund (13%) 30‑day Christmas bonus Life insurance Subsidized cafeteria Monday to Friday work schedule Requerimientos Educación mínima: Educación superior – Licenciatura. 5 años de experiencia.
