Responsibilities We are looking for a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in MySQL or PostgreSQL to manage, maintain, and optimize mission‑critical database environments. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of database platforms across on‑premises and cloud environments. Your Impact Database Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and patch MySQL/PostgreSQL. Troubleshoot performance issues, tune queries, and manage replication/clustering. Backup & Recovery: Implement backups (pgBackRest, WAL, MySQL Enterprise Backup). Test DR procedures. Maintain patching. Cloud & Automation: Manage DBs in AWS RDS, Aurora, Azure, GCP. Automate with Shell/Python/Ansible. Support CI/CD. Performance & Capacity Planning: Optimize workloads, forecast scaling needs. Security & Compliance: Apply encryption, auditing, and security patching. Qualifications 3-5 years DBA experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Advanced level is a must). Replication, clustering, partitioning, sharding. Performance tuning, indexing, query optimization. Cloud DB experience (AWS, Azure, GCP). Migration experience (on‑prem to cloud, MySQL to PostgreSQL). Linux admin and scripting (Shell/Python).
