Liaise directly with Mexican regulatory bodies and clients in Mexico to support the interpretation, understanding and implementation of compliance regulations and projects involving the card industry. Identify required, discretionary, business and system updates and initiate appropriate action based upon compliance requirements and legislative direction of regulatory bodies. Administer the compliance workstream of multiple initiatives/projects, while providing consultative advice internal and external to the organization to ensure adherence to department, division, and corporate disciplines and methodologies while maintaining compliance to reporting standards/requirements and proper usage of escalation. Communicate identified compliance gaps to management immediately; identify financial exposure and client impacts with recommended remediation and communication plan for issue resolution. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law, Technology, Business Management, Finance or related areas. Previous payment network experience is mandatory. Have a deep understanding of Mexican regulatory bodies and how the regulations can be applied to the Payments Ecosystem and their respective financial industries. Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and portray a positive attitude. Work well in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment. Experience working with process improvement and project management methodologies is desired. Advanced English level (speaking, listening and writing).
