The team supports mission-critical infrastructure services, including servers, networks, data center environments, business continuity, service delivery, and customer-facing technology operations. About the Role As a Technical Account Manager, you will provide technical expertise across IT infrastructure areas such as servers, networks, data center services, and related business continuity services throughout the contract lifecycle. You will oversee service delivery performance against budget, quality standards, customer requirements, and contractual terms while managing the technical and service relationship between DXC, the client, and subcontractors or vendors. You will partner with key customer representatives, Infrastructure Support Managers, Client Managers, and Account Delivery Managers to retain customers, support service excellence, and help grow the business. Essential Job Functions Apply technical knowledge to operate technology areas such as network administration, server administration, performance management, or customer environments with moderate risk and complexity. Integrate technical expertise and business understanding to create effective solutions for DXC and its customers. Resolve most technical incidents independently within the assigned technical area and collaborate with team members on complex or multi-technology incidents. Identify potential escalations and proactively alert management to support timely resolution. Provide proactive and reactive solutions to prevent recurring issues within the assigned area of responsibility. Review, implement, and verify changes or solutions of moderate complexity and risk to meet customer and IT infrastructure needs. Apply patches and security changes according to policy and proactively monitor the environment for patch compliance. Ensure Configuration Management Database (CMDB) entries are complete and accurate. Participate in internal and customer projects, including transformation initiatives, and lead projects within the assigned area of responsibility. Balance internal, customer, and end-user needs within defined parameters while working as part of a virtual, global, and cross-functional team. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. CCNA or CCNP certification required. 3–5+ years of experience managing teams of more than 20 people. Experience with IT infrastructure and data center environments. Understanding of the technology area under direct responsibility and general understanding of related technologies. Customer service experience and ability to manage customer, vendor, and internal stakeholder relationships. General project management experience, including participation in customer and internal initiatives. Business analysis skills and ability to translate technical and business requirements into effective solutions. Advanced English level required for global collaboration. Other Qualifications Experience supporting moderately complex infrastructure environments is preferred. Knowledge of incident, problem, escalation, change, patch, security, and configuration management practices is preferred. Experience working with CMDB processes and ensuring configuration data accuracy is a plus. Ability to provide continuous improvement recommendations and guidance within the work team is preferred. Ability to work effectively in virtual, global, and cross-functional teams is preferred. Strong customer focus with the ability to balance internal and external stakeholder needs is preferred. Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are preferred. Ability to serve as a technical resource within the team in the assigned area of responsibility is a plus.
