Job ID: 19676 About the Job The Assistant Security Manager, in close partnership with the Director of Security, plays a key role in leading and overseeing the property’s overall safety and security strategy. This position ensures the effective implementation of security protocols, risk prevention measures, and emergency response plans across the hotel and golf course operations. This role is instrumental in safeguarding guests, colleagues, and assets while maintaining the highest standards of service, discretion, and operational excellence. The Assistant Security Manager also drives a proactive security culture, focusing on prevention, continuous improvement, and team development. Key Responsibilities Support the Director of Security in the execution and continuous enhancement of the property’s security strategy. Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Oversee daily security operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and a high level of professionalism across all shifts. Lead incident management processes, including reporting, investigation, and resolution of security-related matters. Analyze risks and implement preventive measures to protect guests, colleagues, and property assets. Maintain and continuously improve emergency response plans and procedures. Monitor and ensure timely and accurate communication of daily security reports. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the security team, fostering accountability and engagement. Oversee the management of Lost & Found processes, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Ensure proper control and maintenance of security equipment and operational assets. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to strengthen overall safety awareness and response readiness. Support audits, inspections, and internal committees related to safety and security. About You You are a strategic and highly disciplined leader with a strong sense of integrity and accountability. You demonstrate sound judgment under pressure and are capable of making critical decisions in complex or sensitive situations. With a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills, you are able to identify potential risks and implement effective solutions. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar security leadership role, preferably within hospitality or luxury environments. High school diploma or equivalent (degree or certifications in security, safety, or related fields are preferred). Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written). Strong knowledge of security operations, risk assessment, and incident investigation. Advanced knowledge of: Fire prevention and firefighting systems Emergency response (evacuation, search and rescue) Incident investigation procedures Certification or training in emergency response (preferred).
