Responsibilities: Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operations. Establish and direct the Plant Quality Policies & Procedures. Ensure there are no active escalations related to Q1/STA, maintain strict compliance with customer requirements, and respond to risks immediately. Ensure Control Plan maturity and robustness, eliminating recurrence and closing gaps identified during KORN assessments and customer audits. Drive a reduction in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), including scrap, rework, and warranty, through preventive actions and root cause elimination. Ensure 100% compliance with the FTQ daily management routine, including disciplined follow-up and effective action closure. Demonstrate strong leadership in Quality Management System execution, establishing cadence, operational discipline, and proactive escalation of risks. Implement a formal customer follow-up cadence to ensure timely, accurate information delivery and continuous visibility into progress. Optimize resource utilization by balancing workload and prioritizing critical tasks, ensuring business continuity Monitor plant quality on an ongoing basis and provide regular updates to senior leadership. Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality. Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment. Develop a strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting assumptions, and recommending objectives. Qualifications +6 years of experience in the related field in an automotive manufacturing environment. Demonstrate strong influencing, negotiation, and customer dispute management skills, supported by assertive communication, emotional intelligence, and active listening, enabling the ability to build credibility, manage conflict, and effectively persuade customers through clear, data-driven technical argumentation to successfully resolve and win quality-related disputes. Previous experience/strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices. Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as; Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc. to drive improvement. Previous experience/broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies. Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills. Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills. Demonstrated understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering. Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs. Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability. A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
