Overview The Battery Shop Manager is primarily responsible for leading plant operations for a battery assembly operation, utilizing the Stellantis Production Way principles to achieve all required KPIs and KAIs. The manager works with all levels of the organization to maximize overall quality and efficiency, driving safety, quality, delivery, and improvements to reduce total production cost and transformation cost. Responsibilities Lead the Stellantis Production Way across the entire manufacturing complex, driving continuous improvement and safety, quality, delivery, and cost compliance. Manage and coordinate the interface with key stakeholders across Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Production, Materials Logistics, Human Resources, and Finance to ensure alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and improvement goals. Strategic: Lead the Stellantis Production Way in the center and provide leadership across the entire manufacturing complex to drive continuous improvement in all aspects of operations. Operational: Lead continuous improvement processes to eliminate waste, achieve business objectives, drive workforce engagement, provide coaching, and promote teamwork and problem solving. Operational (Safety): Prioritize safety in battery assembly operations, following standard procedures as SMI-176, and promote electrification courses and certification. Resource Management: Lead all personnel in the center, review daily expenditures and identify root causes of main issues, coordinate Capital Expenditure project plans. Other Functions : Manage a large, multi-shift unionized operation, including Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering personnel. POSITION REQUIREMENTS 10 or more years of operations management experience in a high-volume environment. Experience in body shop welding and assembly processes in a vehicle environment. Technical knowledge in battery handling and assembly of EV batteries. Battery cell and module diagnostics experience. Center cost budget management experience and improvements to achieve TC and TPC. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within the plant. Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers. Strong knowledge of Stellantis Way methodology or continuous improvement systems such as TPS and Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of other process systems, quality systems, throughput, standardization, and product/process launch. Experience in product launch based on the SPW methodologies and Early Equipment Management. Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects while maintaining simple communications to others. #J-18808-Ljbffr
