Responsibilities Provide effective video remote interpreting services for clients. Maintain professional and courteous behavior at all times. Demonstrate strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service. Adhere to the interpreter Code of Ethics. Technology Requirements Windows‑based PC running Windows 10 or 11 (updated to the latest version) with updates enabled for the OS and other Microsoft products. USB headset with noise‑canceling microphone. Stable Ethernet connection connected directly to the modem. Spoken Language Qualifications Fluent in both the source and target languages with strong verbal communication skills. At least 2–5 years of medical interpreting experience. Credentialed in medical interpreting (e.g., Bridging the Gap, Cross‑Cultural training, 40‑hour accredited medical courses) preferred. Respect for and understanding of Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients, culture, dialect, beliefs and preferences related to legal/medical care.
