The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The candidate should possess hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs, cloud-native applications, and microservices using Microsoft technologies while ensuring compliance with banking security and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET technologies. Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs and backend services for banking applications. Build and support Microservices-based architectures using .NET Core/.NET technologies. Develop cloud-native applications and deploy solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Integrate banking systems with third-party applications, payment gateways, and financial platforms. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and API security best practices. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions. Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps initiatives. Ensure adherence to banking compliance, security, and quality standards. Required Skills Strong experience in .NET Framework, .NET Core, or ASP.NET Core development. Expertise in REST API development and web services integration. Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Web API, and Microservices architecture. Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. Hands-on experience with cloud services including: Azure App Services Azure Functions Azure API Management Azure DevOps AWS Lambda API Gateway Cloud Storage Services Experience with SQL Server and relational database design. Knowledge of Entity Framework, LINQ, and ORM concepts. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Understanding of secure coding standards and API security. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Banking Domain Knowledge Experience working on Banking or Financial Services applications. Understanding of digital banking, payments, lending, retail banking, transaction processing, or financial integrations. Knowledge of banking security standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Application Insights, Grafana, or ELK Stack. Exposure to high-availability and enterprise-scale systems. Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
