Location: Offshore - Gulf of Mexico (Mexico) Assignment Type: Contract (Project-Based) Rotation: Offshore rotation (to be confirmed) The Opportunity We are partnering with a leading global subsea and offshore contractor to identify a Senior HSE Advisor to join a high-impact offshore campaign in the Gulf of Mexico. This role is suited for professionals who have built their careers onboard vessels and offshore installations , and who can operate as trusted safety leaders in complex, high-risk environments . You will play a key role in driving HSEQ performance at the point of execution , ensuring that operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international and client standards. Your Impact Act as the primary HSE authority onboard, influencing safety culture across crews and contractors Ensure strict compliance with international offshore HSE standards, client requirements, and regulatory frameworks Lead risk assessments, audits, and safety interventions in real-time operational environments Drive proactive reporting of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions Deliver high-quality toolbox talks and safety leadership engagement Oversee Permit to Work (PTW) systems and critical activity controls Support continuous improvement through training, coaching, and behavioral safety initiatives Maintain integrity of HSE data, reporting systems, and project documentation Exercise stop-work authority when required to protect personnel and operations What We’re Looking For Engineering degree or equivalent technical background +4 years of HSE experience, with solid exposure to offshore operations Proven track record working on vessels, barges, or offshore installations Strong understanding of offshore risk management and HSE systems Ability to operate effectively in multinational, fast-paced environments Professional level English (required for offshore communication) Mandatory Certifications Valid BOSIET or HUET Valid Seaman’s Book (or equivalent offshore certification) Permit to Work (PTW / Authorized Signatory) Gas Tester Certification Experience with breathing apparatus systems (ERA) Highly Valued Experience with PEMEX SSPA (Anexo SSPA) or similar frameworks Knowledge of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards Previous experience in subsea construction or marine projects Exposure to international offshore campaigns What’s On Offer Competitive offshore compensation aligned with international benchmarks Rotation-based assignment with full offshore logistics covered Opportunity to work on a high-visibility subsea project Exposure to global HSE standards and best practices Collaborative, multicultural working environment Who This Role Is For This opportunity is ideal for HSE professionals who: Prefer hands‑on offshore environments over corporate roles Have a strong safety leadership presence in the field Are comfortable operating in high‑accountability, high‑performance teams Apply / Connect If you are currently operating in offshore HSE roles and open to your next international assignment, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
