What you'll do The Account Executive (AE) is a highly motivated self-starter responsible for developing and closing new business or expanding existing accounts within the SMB segment. AEs focus on acquiring new customers or selling additional use cases, products, and services into current accounts. They are accountable for exceeding quotas, proactive deal management, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption and usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal teams and partners. This position reports to the Manager, SMB. Responsibilities Achieve individual sales quotas to support company goals Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting within the SMB or Mid-Market segment Deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations via phone and online Negotiate enterprise-level proposals and contracts Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately using sales tools Collaborate with pre- and post-sales resources including SDRs, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partners, Legal, Security, and Support teams Travel as necessary, typically 10% Job Designation Hybrid: Employees work both in-office and remotely, with a minimum of 2 days per week in-office. What you bring Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent experience Preferred Experience managing and closing software sales cycles Proven ability to over-achieve quotas Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Background in IT industry and multinational environments Intermediate English or higher Life at Docusign Docusign values trust, equality, and inclusivity.
