Powersoft is the world leader in the design, production, and commercialization of products and patented solutions for applications in the professional audio field, such as big international shows, concerts, theatres, cinemas, stadiums, airports, train stations, cruises, etc. In line with both our growth and business development, we are further expanding our company by researching for a Sales Area Manager that is responsible for the sales activities in various territories of Central and Latin America where the company is operating in. He/she is responsible for developing Company’s strategies in the region and its various territories he/she is in charge of. Sales Area managers create and maintain budgets, and coordinate with and report to senior management in the company. ROLE Manage a portfolio of accounts in an assigned Territory to achieve long-term strategies Establish, maintain and expand the customer base in the Territory assigned Generate new business using existing and potential industry contacts network Set, track and achieve sales targets, aligned with company objectives Create and implement annual sales strategies, forecasts and key actions for each account/territory Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner Possibly deal with some key customers within the designated territories Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines Report to senior executives on progress and issues Perform field travel within designated distributors/territories to build brand recognition and relationships with field sales and influencer community Attend regional/international trade shows Comply to travel policies and budget Design, contribute and implement Company’s marketing programs Research and report on all aspects of the industry, including competition and market scenarios Make recommendations on product enhancements for improved sales potential Collect customer feedback and market research Keep up to date with products and competitors REQUIREMENTS Skills LEADERSHIP: business acumen with a problem-solving attitude, strong interpersonal skills, excellent motivational skills, good supervisory skills, ability to absorb pressure that comes with the position, ability to work in a team SALES: understanding of sales performance metrics, meeting Sales Goals, motivation for Sales, Territory Management, Performance Management, strong negotiation skills, result oriented and driven, Sales Planning, ability to read and generate reports and market analyses, ability to promote the company and brand to various types of customers COMMUNICATION AND WRITING: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, Public Speaking Skills, Possession of good networking capabilities TIME MAMANGEMENT: ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time, ability to be flexible and to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ability to work with little or no supervision, ability to travel 50-60% of the time Education and Experience A minimum of proven 5 years of experience in sales management in International organisations (the Professional Audio Industry or related constitutes a preferred requirement) Demonstrated knowledge of organizational strategies English and Spanish advanced working knowledge, written and spoken (knowledge of a third language like Portuguese or French constitutes a preferred requirement) Basic economic and accounting skills A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business, or other fields related to the profession Tools Knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel in particular) Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools Knowledge of CRM software/methodology Pioneer, competent and inspired, creatives and innovators - We are renowned for our technological leadership Teamwork oriented, welcoming and ambitious - we focus on developing one's potential, and we cherish profound collaborations that allow us to discover new points of view. #J-18808-Ljbffr
