You lead delivery of the systems-side integration layer: the connection between the applications, the central management system, and the floor equipment (machines and tables). You are the team's technical reference for integration architecture, industry protocols and the certification process. You manage the technical team and are one of the two direct points of contact with project leadership. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct the design and delivery of the integration with the central management system via its standard APIs, including handling real-time, per-play data and the interface to the credit meter on the machines. Govern the implementation of industry protocols (SAS, and the Gaming Standards Association's G2S /S2S), including content download and configuration on the equipment. Drive the client-server systems certification cycle under GLI-21 standards (and GLI-19 where applicable), managing the relationship with independent test laboratories (GLI, BMM). Define and enforce the security and audit requirements demanded by the regulator: cryptographic verification of the game program, remote-access logging, network segmentation and configuration access control. Coordinate bench and floor integration testing, version management and phased deployment plans. Translate regulatory and business requirements into an actionable technical backlog, and lead/mentor a distributed engineering team. Must-have requirements 7+ years in software engineering/delivery, with proven leadership of technical teams (4–10 engineers) and command of agile methodologies. Strong experience in complex real-time system integration via API: event-driven architectures, low latency, high reliability. A track record of operating with rigor in environments with formal certification or audit requirements (gaming, fintech, healthcare, automotive, telecom or another regulated sector). Fluent professional English, written and spoken. Availability to overlap working hours with U.S. time zones (frequent interaction with project leadership). High-value differentiators (nice-to-have) Direct experience in regulated gaming (land-based or iGaming): casino management systems, electronic gaming machine (EGM) integration, or betting platforms. Hands-on command of SAS and/or G2S/S2S. Having taken part in GLI/BMM certification processes or equivalents. Exposure to multi-jurisdictional markets or tribal gaming (IGRA).
