What you'll do Plan and execute all maintenance activities for the building and support equipment, applying as a priority preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques, committing to keep the facilities in full compliance with local, state and federal regulations as well as internal Eaton processes, behaving at all times according to the ethics and values of Eaton. Job Responsibilities A. Execution of facilities’ preventive maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance keeping direct communication with the operational manager and management staff for all changes that affect safety, product quality and/or operating conditions of the plant. B. Ensure the proper execution of work orders concerning general plant maintenance under safety conditions. C. Responsible for the design of the department structure including job descriptions, training, performance review and coaching to develop functional experts. D. Participate in planning, developing and implementing new methods and procedures related to facilities maintenance to drive improvements, minimizing operating costs and reducing environmental impact. E. Participate in the design and implementation of equipment installation standards, and the administration of electrical, pneumatic and thermal power distribution at the facility. F. Participate in activities related to building maintenance and housekeeping assuring high standards. G. Participate in managing facilities risk assessments such as FM Global, ensuring all critical elements and gaps are closed in a timely manner. H. Participate in monitoring and measuring programs for safety, environment and health according to the area of management such as fall protection, energy control (lock out – tag out), electrical safety, confined spaces, etc. I. Support and/or participate in continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, ideas programs, cost‑out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year‑over‑year in processes or practices aligned to achieve business goals and objectives. J. Participate in MESH Category8 Process Safety (fall protection, electrical safety, confined spaces, hot work) etc. Qualification Education level required: Technical or engineering in electromechanical or mechatronic. Years and area of experience required: 2 years of experience as facilities technician in the same industry field (desirable). Technical knowledge: Experience in implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance; knowledge of measurement equipment such as multimeter, ammeter, megger, vernier, micrometer, etc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
