Overview The Customs Compliance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with customs, tax, and regulatory obligations related to IMMEX programs and VAT & IEPS Certification. This role oversees the administration, maintenance, updating, and submission of required procedures and documentation to the corresponding authorities. Responsibilities Manage and maintain IMMEX Programs and VAT & IEPS Certifications, ensuring ongoing compliance with customs, tax, and foreign trade regulations. Coordinate filings and updates related to registrations, deactivations, and modifications of company addresses, production processes, fixed assets, contracts, shareholders, and legal representatives. Prepare official letters, reports, manuals, and supporting documentation required for submissions before government authorities and electronic platforms such as VUCEM and SAT. Manage applications, renewals, extensions, and authorizations related to Annex I, Annex II, Annex 28, and other applicable foreign trade and customs compliance programs. Coordinate the collection, validation, and analysis of information with cross-functional departments including warehouse, logistics, legal, engineering, accounting, and Annex 24 teams. Monitor compliance with obligations arising from VAT & IEPS Certification requirements, IMMEX regulations, and General Foreign Trade Rules. Conduct regulatory analyses and calculations, including validation of temporary import operations, return rate compliance, and Data Stage reviews. Supervise and validate Annex 30 discharge reports and inventory control processes associated with Annex 24 compliance. Support applications and registrations for new IMMEX Programs, VAT & IEPS Certifications, and Importer Registries. Analyze the feasibility of importing goods for new clients and validate the corresponding regulatory and operational authorizations. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Customs, International Business, Law, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customs Trade Compliance within manufacturing environment. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal. Strong knowledge of IMMEX Programs, VAT & IEPS Certification, Annex 24, Annex 30, VUCEM, and applicable foreign trade regulations. Solid understanding and interpretation of Customs Law, Foreign Trade Regulations, and General Foreign Trade Rules. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. Experience managing audits, responding to government authorities, and handling regulatory compliance matters. Effective project management and cross-functional coordination skills. Proven leadership abilities, including team development, coaching, mentoring and conflict resolution. Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive and compliance-oriented approach. #J-18808-Ljbffr
