Operador planta de tratamiento de aguas – AGA Tepotzotlán We are looking for a WWTP Shift Operator who will manage the full wastewater treatment process while supporting environmental compliance at our AGA Tepotzotlán plant. The plant is dedicated to the production of water‑based paints, coatings, and waterproofing products. Location: Tepotzotlán, State of Mexico. Working hours: rotating shifts. You will report to the supervisor and work closely with other operators and departments. No direct reports. Main Responsibilities Operate and control wastewater treatment systems, including MBR, physicochemical processes, and evaporators. Manage and monitor industrial and sanitary wastewater treatment, adjusting operations based on plant needs, system conditions, and water volumes. Oversee water supply systems, including chlorination controls and service/process water equipment. Perform daily field inspections and plant walkthroughs; review system conditions such as blowers, decanting processes, and water levels. Record and track operational data using Excel and electronic logs. Manage hazardous and non‑hazardous waste, including labeling, storage, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Oversee waste handling areas and ensure disposal practices across the site. Coordinate with suppliers and service providers for maintenance and environmental‑related activities. Collaborate with different teams to align environmental and production needs. Operate equipment such as forklifts to support daily activities. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment operations or a similar environmental role. Knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment systems (MBR, physicochemical, and evaporation processes). Understanding of water treatment equipment, service systems, and chlorination controls. Familiar with hazardous and non‑hazardous waste management regulations and environmental compliance standards in Mexico. Basic skills in Excel and digital reporting tools.
