Position Overview The Account Manager serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned customer accounts, supporting both Trans 99 Logistics USA's asset-based transportation services and brokerage solutions. This is not a traditional customer service or track-and-trace position. We are seeking a relationship builder, problem solver, and growth-minded professional who can develop strategic partnerships, identify new opportunities, and help expand Trans 99's presence within existing customer organizations. The ideal candidate understands how to turn daily customer interactions into long-term business opportunities by uncovering additional freight needs, developing new lanes, expanding service offerings, and strengthening customer relationships. Success in this role is measured by customer retention, account growth, revenue expansion, and the ability to create value for both the customer and Trans 99 Logistics USA. Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts Build strong relationships with transportation managers, logistics leaders, procurement teams, and decision-makers Develop a deep understanding of customer operations, supply chain needs, and growth initiatives Conduct regular customer reviews focused on performance, service improvements, and future opportunities Act as a trusted transportation advisor and extension of the customer's logistics team Account Growth & Business Development Identify opportunities to increase freight volume, lane participation, and overall account penetration Expand customer utilization of both Trans 99's asset-based and brokerage services Support new business opportunities within existing customer accounts Develop and execute account growth strategies in partnership with leadership and operations teams Convert transactional customer relationships into long-term strategic partnerships Drive revenue growth through exceptional service and proactive relationship management Transportation Solutions & Execution Manage customer freight utilizing both company-owned assets and third-party carrier networks Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and carrier partners to ensure successful execution Maintain visibility across all active shipments and customer commitments Proactively communicate service updates, risks, and solutions Ensure customer expectations and service requirements are consistently achieved Customer Success & Operational Excellence Monitor key service metrics and customer-specific KPIs Ensure accurate information within transportation management systems and customer portals Lead issue resolution and escalation management when necessary Maintain compliance with customer SOPs and service requirements Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced customer value Qualifications 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, account management, brokerage, customer success, or business development Experience supporting U.S. and Mexico transportation operations preferred Strong relationship-building and communication skills Proven ability to identify and develop growth opportunities within existing accounts Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities Experience working in a fast-paced transportation environment Familiarity with TMS platforms, customer portals, and transportation operations preferred Bilingual English and Spanish required Why Join Trans 99 Logistics USA?
