The Senior Project Manager will take responsibility for end‑to‑end service delivery, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective service. The role involves interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages, managing overall project cost, schedule, and budgets, and overseeing the general contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing construction proposals and related pricing/scopes, correcting and assessing work‑in‑place, and approving capital expenditure spends, including revisions of cost estimates prepared by contractors and other parties within the client’s organization. Planning, organizing, scheduling, directing, and controlling the delivery of the project on time. Managing risks and maintaining the risk register, conducting risk workshops as needed. Monitoring and reporting construction cost drivers and preparing reports for the client. Controlling change orders, recording occurrences that might result in a claim and acting on behalf of the client. Supporting design management and reviewing engineering decisions related to project cost and budget during design‑build changes. Reviewing requests for payment, approving final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments. Leading value‑engineering sessions as required, and overseeing the transfer of building operations to the client, including all close‑out documentation and warranties. Running and leading client meetings, presenting updates at all project stages, and managing stakeholder relationships. Preparing, updating, and managing the project schedule and milestones, and tracking critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip. Ensuring that equipment meets the project schedule and maintaining a collaborative, client‑facing approach. Identifying potential issues early, raising them in the appropriate forum for resolution, and ensuring a high standard of quality control. Demonstrating a track record in the delivery of relevant projects and managing a team in delivering a commission and general line management. Managing revenue, team resources, and priorities to meet client expectations. Maintaining knowledge of health and environmental safety in construction and effective communication, both verbal and written. Being a self‑starter and natural leader capable of motivating teams. Qualifications Fluent in both English and Spanish at a working level. Minimum of 10 years of experience in large‑scale construction projects. Sector experience in logistics, automotive, manufacturing plants, or other hi‑tech industrial facilities. Experience in commissioning and, optionally, in LEED projects. Engineering or architectural degree with chartered status. PMI or equivalent certification is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
